About Me

My photo
Jen Dournaux
As a ballerina I have had the pleasure of dancing, viewing, and appreciating the beautiful classical story ballets for years. As a ballet teacher I have found that introducing my young dancers to these classical ballets has been so beneficial in their learning process. Ballet is steeped with fantastical creatures, from fairies to sylphs, willis to princesses; it is certinaly no wonder why the world of ballet fascinates the young. Watching these fantastical creatures come to life on a well lit stage, under the grand rhythm of orchestrated music, and adorned in costumes embellished and shimmering with ethereal brillance, a little mind can easily fall in love with all that is ballet. The items I design and create are not only meant to be lovely, playful, and delight, they are also meant to inspire and educate their owners on the history of ballet and its riches; stories, characters, music, magic and more. Allow your dancer a good time of spinning, jumping and tippy toe walking around in these tutus - bringing ballet history to life . Enjoy. : )
